Terms of Service
Rates and billing
- The minimum rate is one hour and cannot be split.
- The listed price includes the first hour (60 minutes).
- Additional hours are agreed in advance and billed by actual usage: we always notify you before proceeding.
How to start the work
- Open a support ticket describing the issue with all relevant information.
- Specify the priority in the order: if not set, the work is treated as low priority (editable before it starts).
- If you already have an open ticket, enter its code in the order notes.
- Every request goes through a mandatory analysis process and a queue based on priority.
Access and security
- Always perform a backup of databases and files before any changes.
- Provide the required credentials (MySQL, sFTP, SSH, Magento) in the order notes or in the support ticket.
- Credentials are deleted upon completion: remember to remove any accounts created for the occasion.
- Shine Software is not liable for issues arising after the service, unless it is proven they were caused by the work performed.
Code ownership
- The changes and modules developed are licensed for your domain/project: specify the domain name to work on.
- Changes to third-party modules already covered by their own license are not included in this license.
Refunds
You are entitled to a refund for work not yet performed. No refund applies when:
- the request is technically impossible to complete (as confirmed by support);
- it concerns a Magento bug with an open ticket on GitHub;
- the access or resources needed to work are not provided;
- the work has already been performed by the technical team.
Hours already worked are non-refundable. We recommend verifying the actual resolution before closing the service.
