The Cloud service covered by this offer has, in brief, the following characteristics:

• annual availability of 99.90%
• SAS disks, on KQI Storage, in RAID; fast volatile memory (RAM), minimum 1GB; one or more virtual computing units with the specified availability
• automatic recovery mechanism in case of server downtime onto a second physical server
• one public IP address included, others optional, see related products alongside
• remotely accessible via control panel
• operating system preinstalled with a default configuration, to be updated after release by the Customer.

The installations are in English.

The number of virtual computing units and their availability, the RAM and the disk space can be modified, within the prescribed limits, even after the first activation, and they normally require restarting the virtual machine. All changes require subscribing to a new offer.

It is also possible to switch from one class to another, with all other characteristics unchanged, without restarting the virtual server. Multiple virtual servers can be grouped into a private local network to create "front-end, back-end" configurations and the like.

If this is the requirement, an identifier will be assigned to each server and the "Local Network" item will be included in the offer for one of the servers.

• Contract duration
  The service has an initial duration of 1 month and is subsequently tacitly renewed month by month.
• Computing units
  Shine Software will provide a virtual machine hosted on 1 computing unit (core) at 2.5Ghz and with a minimum availability guarantee of "best effort".
• RAM (GB)
  The virtual machine will be equipped with 2GB of memory. Memory can only be assigned in 1GB increments and cannot exceed 16GB per virtual machine.
• Hard disk (GB - SAS)
  Physical disk on Servers Storage, in SAS technology configured in RAID 5 mode and with a capacity of 5GB. The maximum available capacity, due to architecture requirements, is 500GB.
• Operating system
  Shine Software will make available, for the entire duration of the service, a Debian 64bit operating system with the basic configuration provided by the service.
• Internet bandwidth (Mbs)
  Shine Software will connect the virtual server to an Internet port with a guaranteed capacity of 1Mb/s, hosted on high-quality national and international connections.
• Snapshot (optional)
  Shine Software will configure the service to allow the Customer to create "Snapshots" of the virtual server. This function can be used by the Customer through the virtual server's control/management panel provided by the service.
• Firewall
  Shine Software will configure the shared firewall to manage connections to and from the virtual server. The service will be released with the following configuration.
  - From the Internet to the virtual server: enabling of ftp, ssh, smtp, http, pop, https, rdp
  - From the virtual server to the Internet: no restrictions

Warning: The operating system will be installed on the server and the SSH credentials will be provided to access it and configure it according to your needs. The service does not include the support of a systems administrator, which can be requested for a fee (350 euros + VAT per month for a maximum of 8 hours - Additional hour 40 euros + VAT). Restoring the system to the server's initial state costs 150 euros + VAT. Restoring a backup costs 50 euros + VAT. For the analysis of any errors due to improper management, anomalies, updates, data recovery, and the reconfiguration of any services installed following the release, a custom quote must be requested. The optional Snapshot service costs 10 euros + VAT/month.

After the release, the Customer will request changes from the support service by opening a trouble ticket. It is possible to activate the service even for a single month for presentations, tests, or simply to test its efficiency.
