Static IP Addresses
An IP Address (from the English Internet Protocol address) is a number that uniquely identifies a device connected to a network that uses the Internet Protocol as its communication protocol. An IP address essentially serves two main functions: identifying a device on the network and providing the path to reach it.

Static addresses are used to identify semi-permanent devices with a permanent IP address. Servers typically use this addressing method. From an IT security standpoint, assigning a static IP makes the computer more vulnerable to cyber attacks.
The static address can be configured directly on the device, or as part of a DHCP configuration that associates the corresponding static IP address with the MAC Address.
This package includes 8 static IP Addresses.
If you want to configure a router with the above IP package, keep in mind that the router requires three IPs for the basic configuration. The remaining IPs can be used to manage the various web, mail, ftp services, etc...
